Alka Tomar made history winning bronze for India in women's category at Senior World Wrestling Championships in China.
New Delhi: Alka Tomar scripted history by winning the bronze medal for the country in women's category at Senior World Wrestling Championships in Guangzhou in China.
Tomar won the medal in the 59 kg class bringing laurels for the country after a gap of 39 years, a Wrestling Federation of India press release said on Tuesday.
The competition was held from September 25 to October 1.
