Jakarta: Three more bodies retrieved from the crashed AirAsia plane were identified on Friday, an official of the Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team said.

The three, a woman and two men, were all Indonesian citizens, Budiono, head of the DVI team, said at the Police Hospital Bhaangkara at Surabaya, the capital of Indonesia's East Java province, Xinhua reported.

Five other corpses are being identified and experts are attempting to get more antimortem and postmortem data, said Budiono.

Experts from Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea and Australia have also assisted in identifying the bodies, said Anas Yunus, police chief of East Java province.

So far, a total of four bodies have been identified.
