Abandoned Pakistani boat with 12 guns found in Kutch

Bhuj (Kutch): An abandoned boat with 12 guns has been seized near Kutch but no crew members were found on the boat .

The security agencies suspect it has come from Pakistan. An investigation is underway and security agencies are on the lookout for crew members.

Boats of Pakistani origin are found near the Indo-Pak border at regular intervals. This is the fifth abandoned vessel seized by BSF in the last four months.

Earlier in January, a similar size boat was found in the Sir Creek area. In December, 2015, one such fishing boat was found at Padala creek area near Koteshwar. In November, two fishing boats were found at Harami Nala area of Kutch.
