Added to that will be one section where a kangan maker who makes bangles for the guests, adding an Indian touch to the dining experience. This restaurant is currently hosting a Royal food festival — Royal Curries of Nawabs and Nizams. Chef Manpreet Singh Malik, the brain behind the cuisine, takes everyone through a royal experience with his selection of exclusive Nawabi and Nizami delicacies. Everything about this food festival is Royal. The menu is given in the form of a royal pink satin scroll, which makes you feel as if you are a courtier in the King’s court, reading out some very important news. As you will look over the contents of the menu, it will surely dawn on you that his particular meal does not included starters of any kind. Ask Chef Manpreet about the same and he explains, “There are many types of Royal curries that most people may have not even tried. This festival is about the royal curries and a variety of Indian breads. That is why we don’t have starters in this menu.” So, after placing an order for the drink, you can begin your royal journey with an array of curries like Dilpasand Kofta, Shahi Nehari, Murgh Rizala and Mahi Qualiya for the meat lovers. The vegetarian entrees includes Angoori Paneer, Anjeer Ke Kofta, Baingan Ke Launj, among others. Angoori Paneer, which has a tangy flavour to it is a must-have among the vegetarian curries. Also, the unusual Anjeer ke Kofte will be a yummy treat for people who like their curries to have a tinge of sweet in them. The exclusive curries from the era of Nawabs and Nizams are to be savoured with some royal breads like Sheermal and Warqui Parantha, among others. If you like your breads to be on the softer side, the Warqui Parantha is a must try.Once you have binged on this unusual collection of breads, let your tastebuds sample some rice — the Gucchi Pulao, which is a classic aromatic rice preparation with morel mushroom and saffron is sure to be a favourite. The pulao is very lightly flavoured and is perfect for people who like their food with not-very-strong flavours. After the elaborate meal, try and keep some space for the dessert. The Subz Kulfi Falooda, Muzzafar Ka Meetha and Ras Malai are some of the delights that await those with a sweeth tooth. If you like your desserts on the not-so-sweet side, you can enjoy the Ras Malai. But, if you like strongly sweetened desserts, go for the Muzzafar Ka Meetha, made of roasted sweet vermicelli.
