Just a few hours after she took oath as the Rajasthan Chief Minister at Janpath in Jaipur on Friday, BJP's Vasundhara Raje seems to have started work already. If party sources are to be believed, a major administrative shuffle has already begun after the oath taking ceremony concluded earlier on Friday.
HC Meena, DGP of Rajasthan is likely to be made DG (Jail) whereas Omendra Bhardwaj may take Meena's place as the DGP of Rajasthan, said sources.
As Dr Govind sharma is expected to leave Finance Department to become a part of Indira Gandhi Nahar Mandal, Dr Subhash Garg currently holding the post of Joint Secretary to Government of India, Cabinet Secretariat, is likely to take Govind's position as Principal Secretary (Finance).
Subhash Garg had earlier held the post of Principal Secretary to Government, Finance department, in the year 2008.
CK Mathew, a 1977 batch IAS officer, who has been serving as Chief Secretary of Rajasthan since last year, may be asked to lead Roadways department as the Chairman, party sources said.
Mr. Mathew, who hails from Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, was Secretary to the Chief Minister during the first tenure of Ashok Gehlot as Chief Minister.
Tanmay Kumar, who hails from Bihar and is currently holding the position of Secretary, Finance (Revenue) is likely to take Rajat Mishra's place as Secretary to the Chief Minister, sources indicated. Tanmay had earlier held the position of Secretary to CM for two months time in 2008 during Gehlot's last regime.
Rajat Mishra, meanwhile, may become a part of Labour and employment department.
