The Supreme court on Thursday slammed the CBI for not naming the private individuals and companies in an FIR registered in the 2G spectrum scam.
This despite their names being mentioned in a letter by the CVC.
The Supreme Court was hearing a PIL filed by lawyer Prashant Bhushan seeking a SC-monitered CBI probe into the 2G scam.
The CBI in its defence said that it did not see the purpose of naming the parties as they were not the only ones involved in the scam.
