New Delhi: A 25-year-old woman committed suicide in Gautambudh district of Noida on Tuesday.
Namrata Sharma, an employee of Mahindra Tech Software Company, consumed poisonous tablets inside office premises on Tuesday evening.
News agency UNI quoted Superintendent of Police Paresh Pandey as saying that Namrata, a resident of Uttamnagar in Delhi, consumed the sulphas tablets inside the bathroom.
Pandey added she, who was employed with the firm as an instructor for the past three months, was rushed to a hospital in a critical condition, where she died while being treated upon.
It is learnt that Namrata was due to get married soon in Bangalore because of which she often remained upset.
Her body has been sent for a postmortem.
