Two more FIRs have been registered in connection with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's dharna outside Rail Bhavan in New Delhi which witnessed violent scuffles inside the high-security area where prohibitory orders were in place.

Of the two latest FIRs, all of which have been lodged at Parliament Street police station, one has been registered upon a complaint received from women teachers who alleged that they were attacked, eve-teased and harassed by demonstrators at the protest site.

"An FIR was registered against unknown persons under Sections 323 (hurt), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and 341 and 342 (wrongful restraint and confinement) of IPC," a police source said.

The total number of FIRs lodged over Kejriwal's protest stands now at four.

The first was registered on Monday, the second was filed on Tuesday and the two remaining ones followed on Wednesday. The second FIR registered on Wednesday was also against unknown persons over the violation of prohibitory orders.

Sources said that although Kejriwal was not directly named in any FIR, his name was mentioned by the complainants and could be added in the category of accused during the filing of the charge sheet.

The two-day dharna by Kejriwal witnessed several clashes between police and AAP workers, leading to injuries to at least 31 people, including police and media personnel.

A police official said that the footage of more than 155 CCTV cameras installed in the said area would be scanned to identify the perpetrators who misbehaved with the female teachers.

The women teachers said they had gone to meet Kejriwal to apprise him about their problems when they were allegedly stopped and harassed by protesters outside Rail Bhavan, police said.
