The pre-release event of Animal was attended by the film’s lead cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Anil Kapoor. Filmmaker SS Rajamouli also graced the event as a special guest.

In the event, Mahesh Babu praised Ranbir Kapoor and said, “I have told him this before, also when I met him, but I don’t think he took me seriously. So, today on this stage, I am saying that I am a huge Ranbir Kapoor fan, and in my opinion, I think he is the best actor in India. I have a feeling, Ranbir, that Animal is your best work to date.”

Mahesh Babu is currently busy filming for his upcoming movie Guntur Kaaram, directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The movie is set to hit theatres during Sankranti on January 12, 2024.

Animal is reported to have garnered nearly Rs 10 crore in advance bookings, ahead of its release. The trailer gives a glimpse into Ranbir Kapoor’s character, a fierce man who is out to avenge his father’s murder. Anil Kapoor plays the role of Ranbir’s father, while Rashmika is seen as Ranbir’s love interest. Bobby Deol has essayed the role of antagonist. The movie is all set to hit theatres on December 1.
