Installing Automatic Updates From EA Sports

Verify that your PlayStation 3 is connected to the Internet. You can only install updates if your PS3 is connected to the Internet. Go to Settings > Network Settings > Internet Connection Test to confirm your PS3 is connected to the Internet.

Select “Settings,” then select “System Settings.”

Select “Automatic Update,” then select “On.”

Select the time slot during which you want your PS3 to install updates automatically. Your PS3 will then present a checklist of items that can be updated automatically.

Verify that checkmarks exist next to all items in the list. This will ensure that all updates installed to your system will include the latest system software, game patches, trophy information, and more.

Select “OK.” The Automatic Updates feature will now be enabled.

Launch FIFA 13. Any available existing updates for FIFA 13 will now be installed on your PS3.
Updating Squads and Rosters

Start FIFA 13 on your PS3 and select “Customize FIFA.”

Select “Edit Teams,” then select “Change Squads / Rosters.”

Select “Download Updates,” then select “Yes” to confirm you want to download the latest FIFA updates. Your game will take a few moments to install the latest updates from EA Sports.

Select “OK” when informed that FIFA 13 has installed the latest updates. All squads and rosters will now be updated, and you can resume gameplay.
