This wikiHow teaches you how to turn off the firewall in Ubuntu using the “ufw” command.

Press Ctrl+Alt+T to open a terminal window. If you’re signed into the system remotely and are already at a command line, just skip to the next step.

Type sudo ufw disable and press ↵ Enter. You will be prompted to enter the root password.

Enter the root password and press ↵ Enter. The firewall is now disabled.
