Filmmaker Emerald Fennell is poised to captivate audiences once more with her upcoming film, Saltburn, scheduled for release in November. Fennell, the writer and director of the movie, joined forces with Margot Robbie to bring this cinematic masterpiece to life. Now, just ahead of the trailer’s release, the makers have unveiled an intriguing new poster. The trippy poster features Barry Keoghan, Jacob Elordi, and Rosamund Pike, among others. “We’re all about to lose our minds," read the tagline on the new banner. Along with it, the makers informed fans about the trailer’s release date, i.e. October 20. “Lots of people get lost in Saltburn. You’ll be one of them. Trailer tomorrow," read the caption.

The film stars Barry Keoghan in the leading role as Oliver Quick, an Oxford student whose life takes an unexpected and intriguing turn when he crosses paths with Felix Catton, portrayed by Jacob Elordi of The Kissing Booth fame. The teaser, which was released a month back, provided a glimpse of Felix extending an invitation to Oliver to visit his family’s opulent summer estate in Saltburn, an experience that he’ll never forget.

The first teaser trailer for Saltburn was dropped on August 30. The stunning sets, wild parties and intriguing subplots left cinema enthusiasts asking for more. Apart from Barry Keoghan and Jacob Elordi, the movie also features Rosamund Pike, Richard Grant, Alison Oliver, Ewan Mitchell, Archie Madekwe, Lolly Adefioe, Reece Shearsmith, Paul Rhys, and Carey Mulligan. Interestingly, Carey previously collaborated with director Emerald in her directorial debut, Promising Young Woman.

Emerald Fennell, who previously won an Oscar for Promising Young Woman and worked with Andrew Lloyd Webber on the Cinderella musical, now returns as a director for the film. On the other hand, the exceptionally talented Rosamund Pike, who last appeared in 2020’s I Care A Lot, is set to deliver another gripping performance with her unique character in this film.

Earlier, without delving into the film’s intriguing plot, Emerald told EW, “We want for people to just have fun, really come and have fun and get excited. We want it to get rowdy and sexy — honestly."

Saltburn premiered at the BFI London Film Festival on October 4 and will be released worldwide on November 24.
