Blake Shelton moved wife Gwen Stefani to tears with a heartfelt speech during her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.

Gwen Renée Stefani, the sensational American singer and songwriter, was visibly moved as her husband, Blake Shelton, delivered a heartfelt speech for her during the Walk of Fame Ceremony. This event marked a significant moment in Stefani’s career, as her star was unveiled on the renowned walkway, which boasts more than 2,700 stars, including iconic figures like Muhammad Ali, Charlie Chaplin, and the beloved Alvin and the Chipmunks. Shelton’s speech at the ceremony recounted their first encounter back in 2014. He described Gwen Stefani as unlike any other famous personality he had ever met.

Shelton said that Stefani used to drive herself to work in a simple black minivan with child car seats in the vehicle. “She drove herself to work in a black minivan with car seats in it. She didn’t roll in with security, she came in with a baby and two little boys, which at the time worked like security because nobody was going near. It was chaos,” he added.

He went on to emphasise that it was evident that Stefani prioritised her role as a mother to her sons Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo, who were present at the ceremony, over her stardom.

“It was clear to me that she was a mother first and foremost over anything else in the world,” said Shelton.

He went on to say, “And now, standing her, almost 10 years later after I first met her I can say without question that being a mother is still the most important thing in her life, and I gotta tell y’all, that’s rare in this business. But today it’s nice to see her honoured for her side project which is being one of the biggest stars in the world.”
