Swansea will look for a turn of events in the upcoming season after they confirmed the return of Jonathan de Guzman on loan from Villarreal.
According to vitalfootball.co.uk, Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins said that they were happy to see the Dutch forward on loan after they failed to sign him permanently.
Jenkins said, "Everyone is happy the loan is continuing. Jonathan will review his long-term future next summer."
However, speculations of him returning on a full-term basis is still not out of contention. De Guzman had impressed one and all during his last season on loan which earned him a place in the Netherlands side.
The 25-year-old who has previously worked under Swansea manager Michael Laudrup, said "My ears are always open, I had a great year there.
It was not just the results we had, it was more about showing we can also compete with the big teams. We played better against the bigger teams."
