Manchester: Spanish giants Real Madrid are ready to press on with efforts to bring in a four new major signings in the team next season and are ready to cash in on fan favourite Cristiano Ronaldo according to reports in Spain. English Champions Manchester United have kept no secret to bring Ronaldo back at Old Trafford. The player left United for Madrid in an £80m move in 2009. While he has won a Spanish title and the Copa Del Rey, he has not always been happy at the Bernabeu and according to reports earlier he has also put his house up for sale in Madrid.

Re-elected Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has been given the green light to invest heavily in new talent, with a large portion of the funds needed to bring in the players the Bernabeu side have earmarked being covered by sales of Ronaldo and striker Gonzalo Higuain, who is Arsenal bound.

Real Madrid are looking to bring Napoli ace Edinson Cavani, Malaga playmaker Isco, Tottenham Hotspur Gareth Bale and Liverpool hitman Luis Suarez to bloster their attacking options. If Madrid are able to land in all these stars to Bernabeu, then Perez won't hesitate selling Ronaldo.

PSG and Monaco are also monitoring the situation but Manchester United are seen as favourite to the land the Portugese attacker.
