Arbaaz Khan REACTS To Rumours of Salman Khan Launching Arhaan: 'He Is Concentrating On...' | Exclusive
Arbaaz Khan reveals that Arhaan is prepping to make his acting debut. He adds that he wants his son to make mistakes and know showbiz isn't 'smooth sailing.'

The third generation of the Khans has already kick-started their journeys in the film industry. Last year, Salman Khan’s niece Alizeh Agnihotri marked her acting debut with Farrey, which fetched her raving reviews. Sohail Khan’s son Nirvan decided to learn the ropes of show business by taking on the role of an assistant director first and he went on to assist Maneesh Sharma in Tiger 3. And now, it seems like another young Khan is gearing up to take his family legacy ahead.

Arbaaz and Malaika Arora’s son Arhaan graduated from a film school in Long Island in the USA and is currently prepping to make his big debut. In fact, a report recently did the rounds that Salman is planning to launch both of his nephews, Arhaan and Nirvan, in a bromance film. However, in an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha, Arbaaz refutes the same. “I don’t know. They’re still rumours according to me. This news hasn’t reached my ears yet,” he tells us.

But he’s quick to add that Arhaan is keen on acting and is training himself for the same. “It’s pretty evident based on his preparations that that’s where he wants to be. He has gone to a film school and has done other things also,” says Arbaaz, who is awaiting the release of his next production venture Patna Shuklla on March 29 on Disney+ Hotstar.

The Fashion and Dabangg actor continues, “Arhaan is now concentrating on his career. He’s just a young boy. He’ll be 22 this year. He’s preparing himself for his future. He’s a very hard working, sincere and dedicated kid. If all goes well, his focus is right and luck is on his side, I’m quite sure that he’ll make it because of his efforts.”

Arbaaz goes on to reveal that conversations with his son now also include film-related discussions but despite his nearly three-decade long experience in showbiz, he gives his son the free hand to him take most decisions. “He does discuss things with me and I give him my guidance. But I don’t want to interfere too much. I don’t want him to be guided in a way that he doesn’t get to learn from his own experiences and mistakes. I don’t want to keep him in a protective environment, inside a bubble. I want him to fly, fall, make mistakes and learn so that he understands that the world is a tough place,” he states.

While he shares that he’ll always be there for Arhaan but he stressed on him learning the nitty-gritties of the industry the hard way. “To have a twenty or thirty year long career, one needs to experience the ups and the downs. Not everything is going to be a bed of roses or smooth sailing. I tell him that he’ll go through his own share of turbulences, trials and tribulations but that he needs to weather the storms that come his way. I want to prepare him for all of that,” adds Arbaaz.
