UP Police Bust Bulandshahr Exam Solvers Gang Involved In Govt Job Cheating
Among the arrested members, two accused had committed fraud in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET), creating fake documents.

The Uttar Pradesh Police in Bulandshahr district have apprehended members of an exam solvers gang involved in facilitating cheating during government job examinations. Eight members of the gang, along with three candidates who benefited from their services, were arrested in the operation. The arrested individuals hail from Aligarh, Mathura and Hathras.

The modus operandi of the solvers’ gang involved impersonating candidates using false documents during examinations. They charged exorbitant fees, amounting to lakhs of rupees, from candidates seeking their assistance in passing the exams.

Among the arrested, two individuals were found guilty of fraud in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET), where they gained entry to the examination centre using forged documents. Ramesh Singh, Principal of Chhatrapati Shivaji Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, filed a fraud case at the Kotwali Dehat police station, leading to the police investigation and subsequent arrests.

The investigation revealed that Rajkumar alias Pandit, along with his associates, operated a well-organised paper solvers gang that extorted money from candidates to ensure success in various government job examinations. The gang targeted exams such as the Post of Assistant Operator UP, Civil Police Constable, Police Radio Operator, Haryana’s BSF GD Recruitment, Lekhpal Recruitment and Railway Recruitment, both online and offline.

The gang charged candidates Rs 6 lakh per exam, with an advance payment of Rs 2 lakh before the examination. The police arrested three candidates, Kuldeep, Pawan and Rohit, who were set to appear for the radio operator recruitment exam in UP. These candidates had already paid the advance fee, which was recovered by the police during their arrest.

Shankar Prasad, SP of Bulandshahr, stated that the gang operated by providing paper solvers to candidates using fake admit cards for government job examinations. The arrests were made during the Uttar Pradesh Police Radio Operator recruitment exam and the gang was also preparing to cheat in the upcoming police constable examination.

The crackdown on the exam solvers gang shows the efforts of law enforcement agencies to maintain the integrity of government job examinations and curb fraudulent practices in the recruitment process.
