UP Board Class 10 Results 2024: Pragya Srivastava Tops Gonda District With 97.5%
She hails from Vishnupuri Colony, Gonda, and got 6th place in Uttar Pradesh state-wise ranking.

The Uttar Pradesh State Board of High School and Intermediate Education (UPMSP) declared its class 10 results on April 20. This was done via a press conference at the headquarters in Prayagraj. Many students from different districts of Uttar Pradesh have made their way to the merit list including Pragya Srivastava from Gonda. She has scored 97.5 percent in and secured a place in the top 10 list. She hails from Vishnupuri Colony, Gonda, and got 6th place in Uttar Pradesh, while 1st position in Gonda. Pragya’s marks in different subjects are as follows: 97 in Mathematics, Science, Sanskrit, and Hindi, 99 in English, and 98 in Social Science.

In an interview with News 18 Uttar Pradesh, Pragya said that she is feeling extremely happy. The Gonda candidate said that she was confident of her brilliant performance in the exams. She credits hard work for her success and advises everyone to take out 7-8 hours daily for studies. Pragya only relied on the studies done in the school and never took any coaching facilities. According to her, she concentrated on what was being taught in the school and again revised her in the home. She used to pose questions to the teachers regarding the concepts that she could not understand and thus prepared for the exams.

She also credits her parents and teachers for helping her secure such topmost marks. Pragya aspires to join the civil services in the future and serve the country. She advised everyone to keep working hard to accomplish their goals. As per Pragya, a result cannot decide the academic excellence of a student.

Her father works in the Uttar Pradesh police and is currently posted in the Balrampur Nagar Police Control Room. Her mother Pratibha Srivastava is a homemaker.

Besides Pragya, other topper candidates from the class 10 board exam include Prachi Nigam, a student from Sitapur. She topped the class 10th results in the state with an impressive score of 98.50 percent. This is equivalent to 591 out of 600 marks.
