The Tamil Nadu class 11 HSE +1 exams 2024 were held from March 4 to March 25. Students need to secure at least 35 out of 100 marks to qualify

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu will be releasing the Class 11th or HSE +1 final results tomorrow, May 14 at 9:30 am. Students can check their scores on the official websites: tnresults.nic.in, dge.tn.gov.in and results.digilocker.gov.in. To download the result, candidates must enter their registration number and date of birth. The exams were held from March 4 to March 25.

Students need to secure at least 35 out of 100 marks to qualify. For theory exams carrying 70 marks, students must achieve passing marks, while no minimum passing mark is set for practical exams. However, attendance during the practical test is mandatory.

Students will receive their original class 11 HSE+1 marksheet from their respective educational institutions. The marksheet will be provisional and accessible on the TNDGE’s official website.

TN 11th +1 results 2024: Steps to check

Step 1: Open the official website of the board at tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link: “Tamil Nadu HSC First Year Result 2024.”

Step 3: Now, fill in your date of birth and registration number.

Step 4: Submit the details and your results will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Download and take a printout of your results for future reference.

TN 11th +1 results 2024: Pass Percentage Over the Years

Last year, in the TN HSC Plus 1 exam, out of 7,76,844 students who appeared, 7,06,413 cleared it, resulting in a pass percentage of 90.93 per cent. Girls outperformed boys, achieving a pass percentage of 94.36 per cent, while boys’ performance stood at 86.99 per cent. Among streams, science had the highest pass rate at 93.38 per cent, followed by commerce at 88.08 per cent and arts at 73.59 per cent.

In 2022, out of 8,43,675 students who took the exam, 7,50,856 passed, leading to an overall pass percentage of 90.07 per cent. Meanwhile, over 2,700 schools in 2021 recorded 100 per cent results in the TN +1 exam.

In 2020, a total of 8,15,442 students appeared for the exam, with 7,83,160 students passing it. The overall pass percentage was an impressive 96.04 per cent.
