The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a list of National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (I), 2024 candidates whose applications have been rejected due to non-payment of the examination Fee.
The list contains a total of 99 candidates whose applications have been rejected as the confirmation of Rs 100 had not been received from the bank authorities regarding the fee, the commission said as quoted by Hindustan Times.
In the notice, the commission further mentioned that the candidates can appeal against the rejection. The candidates must appeal within 10 days along with the documentary evidence by speed post or by hand only.
According to the commission’s notice, the appeal should be addressed to ‘Smt. Kripa Anna Ekka, Under Secretary (NDA), Union Public Service Commission, 4th floor, Hall no. 1, Examination Hall, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi- 110069.’
The appeal against the rejection should reach the commission’s office by February 4, 2024, the UPSC notice further mentioned.
Rejected applications will be reviewed if documentary proof of genuine fee payment is received. Bank -pay -in-slip (In original) should be submitted if the candidate paid/deposited the fee through cash mode in the State Bank of India/ designated banks, reports suggest.
Copy of debit/credit card Statement or Bank Account Statement has to be submitted if the fee payment has been done through debit/Credit Card or through internet banking of authorised banks.

Step 3: Click on the link adjacent to the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2024.
Step 4: A PDF document will appear on the display screen.
Step 5: Scroll down to check if your name appears on the list.
The National Defence Academy examination is a highly competitive examination that is conducted for candidates willing to take admission to the NDA and the Indian Naval Academy (INA). The NDA exam is conducted twice a year by the UPSC in April and September.
