IAF Invites Applications For Agniveervayu Recruitment, Registration Starts May 22
The Indian Air Force has announced the recruitment of Agniveervayu for bachelor boys and girls.

The Indian Air Force has invited applications for the recruitment of the posts of Agniveervayu (Musician) in the Air Force. Eligible candidates can apply for the posts mentioned on the official website at agnipathvayu.cdac.in. The online application process for the same will start on May 22.

The 10th pass unmarried male and female candidates from all states of the country can apply for Agniveervayu recruitment. As per the notification, the recruitment test will be conducted in Kanpur and Bengaluru.

Important Dates:

Candidates need to note that agnipathvayu.cdac.in will open for registration for the Agniveervayu (Musician) rally on May 22, 2024, and the deadline for the registration process is June 5, 2024. The recruitment test will be conducted from July 3 to July 12, 2024, at the mentioned venue.

Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility details, including eligibility, age limit, how to apply, educational qualifications, and others, have been released by the IAF to its official website. Candidates are advised to check all the information before applying to these positions.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have passed Matriculation / 10th, or equivalent with minimum pass marks from any government-recognized school or board.

Music Ability:

The candidates must have proficiency in music with accuracy in tempo, pitch, and singing. Along with this, they should be able to perform the preparatory tune and any of the notations, i.e., Staff notation/ Tablature/ Tonic Solfa/ Hindustani/ Carnatic etc. Candidates must be able to tune individual instruments (in case of instruments require tuning) and match unknown notes on vocals or instruments.

Musical Experience Certificate:

The candidates should have a certificate of proficiency in playing Grade 5 or its equivalent. Or must have done a diploma in Hindustani music or Carnatic music. Or there should be a certificate of performance/participation at various events.

Physical Criteria:

The height of male candidates should be at least 162 cm, and that of female candidates should be 152 cm. For female candidates from North-East or hilly areas, the minimum height is 147 cm. For Lakshadweep candidates, the height should be 150 cm. While the chest circumference of male candidates should be 77 cm without expansion. The chest wall for both candidates should be well proportioned and well developed, with a minimum range of expansion of 05 cm.

Selection Process:

The candidates will have to undergo the various rounds of the selection process, including the proficiency test, written test, physical fitness test, adaptability test II, and medical examination.
