Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has opened applications for multiple positions under the Central Government. This opportunity is available for both Class 10 pass and degree holders across various categories. Selection Process:
- Exams: Tier-I and Tier-II (objective multiple choice format)
- Negative Marking: 0.50 for each wrong answer
- Tier-I Subjects: General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language
- Tier-II Sections: Mathematics, Reasoning, General Intelligence, English Language, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge (various durations and marks as specified)
Tier two of the examination comprises three sections. The first section includes 30 questions on Mathematical Ability and 30 questions on Reasoning and General Intelligence, totaling 60 questions carrying 180 marks. This section is allocated one hour for completion. The second section consists of 45 questions on English Language and Comprehension, along with 25 questions on General Awareness, totaling 70 questions and carrying 210 marks. Candidates have one hour to complete this section.
Additionally, there is a third section dedicated to Computer Knowledge, consisting of 20 questions carrying 60 marks, with a time allocation of 15 minutes. All three sections are conducted on the same day. Candidates appearing for Tier 2 Exam will also undergo a Skill Test / Typing Test on the same day. The Typing Test duration is 15 minutes. Applicants for the positions of Junior Statistical Officer and Statistical Investigator Grade Two must also complete Paper 2 on Statistics, comprising 100 questions and carrying 200 marks, within a time frame of two hours.
