The intermediate examinations conducted by various boards across the country have concluded and students are now preparing to enrol in universities for further studies after the release of their results.

Meanwhile, the admission process at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJM) in Kanpur has commenced. This year, students have better opportunities at Kanpur University as it introduces three new courses aimed at providing industry-oriented education with promising employment prospects. According to the official website of CSJM University, these new courses cater to the demands of the industry and offer significant potential for students’ future careers.

CSJM University has a tradition of introducing new courses every year, aligning with industry requirements. For the 2024-25 academic batch, the university has launched three new courses, including bachelor’s and diploma programs. Prospective students enrolling for the upcoming academic year will have the opportunity to apply for these newly introduced courses.

Vinay Kumar Pathak, the Vice Chancellor of CSJM University, announced the opening of the admission window on the university’s official website for students interested in enrolling this year. Applicants can register themselves by visiting the website and following the prescribed procedure.

Reports indicate that CSJM University is offering three new and intriguing courses for the upcoming academic session. These include a Bachelor of Design, BA Honours in Political Science and a Diploma in Digital Humanities. The Bachelor of Design is a four-year undergraduate course, while the BA Honours in Political Science is a three-year program.

According to the admission brochure of CSJM University, eligibility criteria for BA Honours in Political Science require applicants to have passed Class 12 from a recognised institution. For the Bachelor of Design program, applicants must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45 per cent marks. However, the university provides relaxation in educational requirements for students belonging to reserved categories.

The Bachelor of Design program offers 30 seats in the first session, with an annual fee of Rs 54,200. Similarly, the Diploma in Digital Humanities also admits 30 students annually, with a fee of Rs 10,000 per year. The BA Honours in Political Science is offered at an annual fee of Rs 22,000.

These new courses aim to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen fields, reflecting CSJM University’s commitment to providing quality education aligned with industry demands.
