To prevent any last-minute complications, students can go through the guidelines mentioned below, before they appear for the CBSE Board Exam 2024 –

Pack everything you need

Arrange all the stationery you need at least one day before the exam. Pack your pencils, pens, erasers, and rulers and make sure that you have extras. Do not forget that you will also have to carry your admit card and school ID card to the exam hall.

Reach the exam hall early

Wake up early on the exam day, have a proper meal before you leave but make sure you reach the examination centre with at least 30 minutes to spare. This will give you ample time to settle down and make the necessary arrangements if you did forget to bring something.

Follow the examiner’s instructions

Listen carefully to what the invigilators are telling the students. Before entering the hall, leave all your electronic devices outside. Then you can proceed to find your seat inside the exam hall. Students must refrain from using unfair means as it will result in some strict actions. They are also not permitted to carry any prohibited study materials inside the exam room, including notes, textbooks, or flashcards.

Use your time wisely

Students are encouraged to manage their time effectively. You should focus on the questions you know the answers to and leave the difficult ones for last. Make sure you save at least 10 minutes for a thorough review of your answers.

Review your answers once you finish

Students should always go through their papers once they have finished answering. This will allow you to make some last-minute changes to your papers
