Watch: Babar Hits Outrageous Sixes With Just One Hand During European Cricket Match
During a European Cricket Series match, Spain's Muhammad Babar blasted back-to-back sixes while holding the bat with just his right hand.

During a European Cricket International (ECI) match between Spain and the Czech Republic on Sunday, Muhammad Babar attempted an outrageous shot as he freed his top hand and used just the bottom hand to launch back-to-back sixes.

It was the last game of a five-match series where the Czech Republic batted first and set a target of 118 runs in 10 overs. During the chase, Spain’s Babar literally used one hand to clear the boundary, twice in a row.

He struck those shots against Sagor Hossain. The first time though, the bat slipped out of Babar’s hand and the ball didn’t go too far, landing near the square leg region even as he added a quick two runs to his total.

Despite the failed attempt, Babar didn’t back down.

Facing the very next delivery, Babar opted for the same shot and this time, the ball found the middle of his willow. It was a powerful hit as the ball comfortably cleared the fence for a six. The right-handed batter was in no mood to relent.

He once again went for the one-handed shot and nailed it again sending the ball out of the park leaving the commentator gobsmacked.

The video went viral on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

One of the viewers felt that the Czech Republic bowler made an error by delivering consecutive half-volleys as it made the task easy for Babar.

“After that first one, I’d bowl a beamer,” one wrote.

Joking about Spain and the Czech Republic’s involvement in an international cricket match, one fan commented, “Never thought I would find these two in a cricket match scorecard.”

“The funniest thing about all of this is the commentator calling it international cricket,” quipped a user.

Babar remained unbeaten scoring 83. His quickfire 26-ball knock comprised nine sixes and five fours and helped Spain to an easy win.
