Ravi Shastri moderating the toss of a World Cup final featuring India is a scene full of energy. The same was the case on Saturday when Indian captain Rohit Sharma and South African skipper Aiden Markaram walked out for the toss at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. The former India head coach seems to have woken everyone up in the city with his godly voice when he introduced both the skipper and match referee, Richie Richardson.

Shastri, donning his green handwoven hat, delivered a roaring monologue which electrified the atmosphere. Meanwhile, Rohit and Markram were in splits after listening to their respective introductions.

Meanwhile, India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bat against South Africa. Both teams have had a stellar unbeaten run in the tournament finishing first in their respective group and Super Eight rounds.
While India are playing their third final of the T20 World Cup, with their last appearance in the 2014 edition and having won the inaugural edition in 2007, it is for the first time that the Proteas team has made it to the summit clash of an ICC tournament.
