Bigg Boss 17 has kept its audience hooked ever since it premiered on October 15. Now, as the season is in its final leg, the excitement is climbing high up ahead of the much-anticipated finale. All the contestants of the Salman Khan-hosted show have been getting immense support from their industry friends and family. Recently, Ankita Lokhande also received a shoutout from none other than Mrunal Thakur. Sharing her support for Ankita, her Pavitra Rishta co-star Mrunal took to her Instagram stories and posted a stunning picture of the actress. Ankita can be seen wearing a ravishing purple saree in the photo. “Ankita my gurl the strongest (raising hands emojis). Sending you strength and love,” Mrunal wrote.
Notably, the actresses share a great rapport since their Pavitra Rishta days. Ankita and Mrunal played sisters in the daily soap.
Ankita Lokhande entered Bigg Boss 17 with her husband Vicky Jain. Time and again, they hogged headlines as their relationship was marred with arguments and fights. During a recent episode, Vicky’s mother visited the Bigg Boss house during family week and expressed her unhappiness over the actress’ behaviour with her son.
Currently, the controversial reality show is left with 9 contestants. On the latest Weekend Ka Vaar, Karan Johar— who graced Bigg Boss 17 as a guest host – lauded Ankita and her ways of playing the game. She also received a hug from the celebrated filmmaker.
According to the latest promo, Ankita and Vicky will again end up fighting in the reality show. The couple will be seen arguing after the actress points out that Vicky is missing out on ‘compassion’ in their relationship.
Ankita Lokhande has been one of the popular contestants this season and a favourite among the viewers. She is strong enough to feature among the finalists of the controversial show. The finale is scheduled for January 28.
Apart from television serials, Ankita has starred in films like Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Baaghi 3. On the other hand, Mrunal Thakur appeared in Bollywood movies such as Jersey, and Pippa among others. She is currently basking in the glory of her Telugu film, Hi Nanna.
