Will you ever crash your Tesla Model S to save a life? 41-year-old Manfred Kick in Munich, Germany did it and Tesla CEO Elon Musk has come forward to pay for repairs as well.
According to a report by German newspaper Muenchner Merkur, Kick while driving his Tesla Model S on an expressway near Munich noticed a Volkswagen Passat slamming the guardrail several times and the vehicle appeared to be out of control.
He was quick to realise that the driver of the Passat was unconscious while the car kept ramming the guardrails along the road. “I had to stop his car somehow, otherwise it would have continued forever. And it was clear that the driver needed urgent help," Kick told the German newspaper.
It was later uncovered by the emergency services that the Passat driver might have suffered a stroke while driving and was taken to the hospital.
