Anushka Sharma has reportedly left Mumbai with her newborn daughter Vamika for the first time since her baby’s birth to cheer on Virat Kohli as India plays against England in Ahmedabad. The cricketer had taken paternity leave for Anushka’s delivery. As he gets back on the field, it is reported that Anushka and Vamika will be cheering him on at the next match.
According to media reports, both mother and daughter have reached Ahmedabad. Fans are waiting to catch a glimpse of the baby at the pink ball test against England. The match will happen in Ahmedabad’s Motera Stadium which is now renamed as Narendra Modi stadium.
Bollywood photographer Viral Bhayani shared a post on Instagram, saying, “#AnushkaSharma arrived today morning in Ahmedabad with baby Vamika to be part of this historic match at #moterastadium.”

The power couple, who has been married for over three years, welcomed their daughter Vamika early this year. Anushka had introduced her baby girl to the world with a post on social media. She wrote, “We have lived together with love, presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one, Vamika has taken it to a whole new level ! Tears, laughter, worry, bliss – emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes ! Sleep is elusive but our hearts are SO full. Thanking you all for your wishes, prayers and good energy.”

Currently, the Men In Blue are gearing for the Day-Night Test match against England squad. After the first two Test games at Chepauk, the four-match series is tied at 1-1. The pink ball tests will take place under the lights of the newly reconstructed Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad. Kohli will lead team India against Joe Root led side in the upcoming 3rd Test.
