Her Eras tour, commencing in March last year, has captured the hearts of audiences globally. Proposals have become a regular highlight during her performances, often occurring during the iconic song Love Story. The latest viral proposal video, from Swift’s Singapore concert, captures a heartfelt moment during Champagne Problems. As Swift sings the poignant line, “She would’ve made such a lovely bride,” a man kneels down and presents a ring to his girlfriend.

However, the proposal took an unexpected turn when the girl being proposed to also pulled out a ring from her bag, surprising her partner. It became apparent that both of them had planned to propose to each other during the concert. The heartwarming video was initially shared on TikTok by a fellow concert attendee and quickly gained traction on social media.

Commenting on it, an Instagram user wrote, “Dudeeee this girl is one of a million man damn sweet!!!” Another person wrote, “Damn i seen so many love story proposal, first champagne problem proposal!!!!” Someone joked, “She surprised her partner saying ‘someone proposed too I rejected him but he threw the ring on me so I kept it.'”

In March last year, a similar video went viral that showed a man getting on his knee with a ring and proposing to his girlfriend just when Swift sang Love Story’s lyrics, “He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring, and said, Marry me, Juliet”. The girl said yes and the couple embraced as the people around them cheered.

Even as this video went viral, a few people argued that they would not want to be proposed in the middle of a concert. Making this point, an X user wrote, “Out of all moments he chose to propose during a taylor swift concert? girl, don’t disturb her!” Another user commented, “I only hope that she accepted because she really wanted to and not because she felt pressured. I really do not trust men who make these public marriage proposals.”
