'Vibing': LinkedIn Profile Packed with Short, Hilarious Job Descriptions Goes Viral

LinkedIn has transcended its origins as a mere job-searching and posting platform. So, when a LinkedIn user stood out for their concise, witty, and impactful job descriptions, it captured widespread attention, extending far beyond the platform’s conventional employment focus.

It all unfolded when an ‘X’ user, Vibin Babuurajan, shared a screenshot of Mahesh Suthar’s LinkedIn profile, setting the internet ablaze. Why the frenzy, you wonder? Well, every experience listed by Mr. Suthar was accompanied by a punchy one-liner describing his accomplishments or lessons learned at each job. These descriptions were razor-sharp, devoid of unnecessary fluff. For example, as a Product Marketing Manager, he simply stated, ‘Learned how to market,’ while for his role as a Consultant, he humorously wrote, ‘Made friends,’ and the wit kept flowing.

The amusement peaked when he described his role as Senior Director with the candid statement, ‘Stopped learning much,’ followed by his current position, where he simply describes himself as ‘Vibing.’ Who could have conjured such quirky descriptions?

Naturally, Vibin couldn’t resist sharing the post on social media, tagging Mahesh and declaring, “LinkedIn experience description done right.” Predictably, the post went viral, drawing comments from the public.

“Should have mentioned quantitative data like: made how many friends,” quipped one user. “Who said perfect explanations doesn’t exist,” chimed another. “I love it lol,” exclaimed the third.

Earlier, another LinkedIn profile caused a stir on ‘X’ when an individual proudly labelled themselves as an ‘Investor’ in the Work Experience section. The screenshot revealed a bold claim of investing in prominent tech giants like Alphabet, Apple, Tesla, and Microsoft – quite the portfolio! However, News18 couldn’t identify this ‘genius,’ adding a dash of intrigue to the tale. Despite the anonymity, users on the micro-blogging site were thoroughly entertained by this display of bravado, unable to control their laughter as they scrolled through.
