A man from Uttar Pradesh, who wanted to go viral on social media, took a dangerous gamble by faking his own death. The now-viral video opens to show a close-up of Kumar, who is seen with cotton stuffed in his nostrils and a garland around his neck, lying on a red mat wrapped in a shroud. As the video goes on, the camera pans to show Kumar lying on the road in front of Kasganj police barrier with people surrounding him. He placed the police barrier in the middle of the road to divert traffic, so that he can shoot the video without any disruption.

In the video, one person can be heard saying, “Bhaiya Ram Ram,” while another asks, “Kon hai [Who is this]?” A third bystander questions, “Video banayein [Shall I record it on video]?” and another curious individual inquires, “Ye kya ho gaya [What has happened]?”

Moments later, Kumar “comes to life,” removing the cotton from his nostrils.
