Imagine having an entire row, or even the entire cabin, to yourself when boarding a plane. With only one or two passengers, you can choose any seat you wish, stretch out, sleep comfortably, and enjoy the flight without feeling cramped or jostled by other passengers. The usual aeroplane noise and chatter would be significantly reduced and create a tranquil environment, allowing you to relax, work, or simply enjoy the peace and quiet. Finding the entire plane empty can definitely feel like a dream come true!
The experience of having a practically empty plane is certainly uncommon and adds a touch of excitement and novelty to the travel experience. However, while enjoying a similar experience, a man’s fellow passenger, who had the opportunity to sit wherever he liked on a Southwest Airlines flight, chose to sit right behind him.
Sharing a picture of this incident on the micro-blogging platform, Chef Anthony Thomas captioned, “Imagine having the luxury of boarding a flight with only two passengers on it. Of all the seats on the flight, look where he decided to sit.”
The image features a man on an empty plane, with one passenger sitting just behind him and another sitting in the back. Surprisingly, the picture took social media by storm and quickly caught the attention of many, eliciting a conversation online.
