Many people expressed concern about the artist using a fire while designing a portrait over the laptop.

Some of the most impressive artworks are often created by street artists who make masterpieces for a small sum and in the process end up impressing the onlookers. Now a viral video shows how an artist creates a beautiful stencil portrait of the iconic Roman Colosseum on a MacBook. This street artist creates this artwork as the laptop’s cover. The person who entrusted his pricey gadget with the street side transformation recorded how the artist created the mesmerising portrait within a few minutes. His interpretation of the Roman Colosseum involves a massive moon looming in the background, giving the monument a more mystical look.

In the video the onlookers gasp in awe and even cheer when the artist does cool tricks such as taking off the stencils to reveal the paintings or removing masking tape from the laptop’s sides which creates satisfying straight lines. At some point, the artist uses flames to supposedly seal the colours. When the artist hands over the laptop, he mentions that the painting should be left untouched for 10 minutes. Impressed with the artwork, the man gives the artist 50 euros, approximately Rs 4,500, which he happily accepts.

The artist’s identity is unclear. So far, this video has gathered over 4,00,000 views and thousands of likes since it was posted on January 30. The video’s caption read, “This Indian guy in Rome is amazing!” Commenting on the video, an X user wrote, “This is incredible.” Another mentioned, “Amazing talent on the laptop may be a bad idea but it’s amazing.” Someone remarked, “we need many magical artists here in India outside each of our fantastic Temples with much better stories & architecture & older than the Colosseum. Indeed we need tourists who will pay big money to them as well!!!”

Many people also expressed worry over the artist using a fire over the laptop especially considering that the paints he used were flammable. Making this point, an X user commented, “Dude, just get a sticker. Why risk having a flame close to your expensive device? Although it may work, the heat affects the glue which holds the inner circuits together as well as the weather sealing around the edges.” Another asserted, “My anxiety levels reached a new high when he used fire on that expensive gadget. Inflammable paints with fire is a recipe for disaster.” Someone observed, “I would not risk my Mac.”
