Recently, a social media user applied AI (artificial intelligence) to draw an uncanny similarity between Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine character and Thalapathy Vijay.

Sharing the comparison results on X, the user wrote, “Wolverine 1026 pixels, Wolverine 360 pixels.” The first resolution was used to refer to Hugh Jackman and the latter to Thalapathy Vijay. The initial picture features a close-up photo of Jackman in his iconic Wolverine character. He sports a mutton chops beard while his hair is back-brushed stylishly into upright spikes. The Hollywood star exudes an angry expression in the snap.

In stark comparison, Thalapathy Vijay’s close-up picture was evidently AI-generated. The South superstar’s moustache was removed and only his full-grown beard was seen. Unlike Jackman, the GOAT star flashed a subtle smile, underlining zero aggression or fury.

Soon after the post surfaced on the micro-blogging platform, the internet population shared several reactions in the comments section. “That is 144p. what are you even thinking,” corrected an individual jokingly. “Wolverine from Meesho,” said another. A person addressed Thalapathy Vijay as “Mommamad Thalapathy”.
