A woman was left shocked to the core after a horrific family secret unravelled in front of her and her sister. As per the Mirror website, both sisters found that their father is not the biological parent of their younger brother. The sisters got to know that their mother had cheated on their father with a person named David. The world came crashing down upon them when they realised this fact about their younger brother. Another unpleasant situation that happened to them was that they didn’t find this secret even when their parents divorced around four years ago. The woman wrote on the Reddit website: “When they got divorced, my mum acted completely insane, trying to get us and our children to abandon our dad and choose to only have a relationship with her.” She continued: “Our dad said a few cryptic things out of frustration that made it clear he had big secrets and that he felt stuck watching her try to isolate us and not being able to tell us the truth about who she really is as a person.”
By chance, a childhood friend of their mum’s had her first grandchild. Everyone was invited to the occasion. Both sisters were left stunned when they found that one man in the gathering, in his 50s, named David’s face closely resembled their brother. The woman, who made the above revelations, wrote on Reddit that this meeting happened two years ago.
Today, the woman admitted she had told her father of the sadness she felt about their mother only caring for their brother and not the two sisters. At first, their father didn’t admit the ugly truth to them. She, however, told her father about already knowing the real father of their brother. It was then their father told them how their mother had an affair with a man for three years. At that time, both sisters were younger. Now, the woman is feeling perplexed, as to whether to tell their brother about this secret or not. The woman wrote that she didn’t want to ruin her relationship with her brother.
