Shark Tank India’s Radhika Gupta Monsoon Morning Is All About ‘Fabulous Metro And Chole Bhature’
Edelweiss Mutual Fund CEO and Shark Tank India judge Radhika Gupta posted pictures from her experience of travelling through the rain-soaked national capital.

Delhi saw the onset of monsoon on June 28, bringing with it the most precipitation in a single June day in 88 years. The capital city came to a complete halt due to the rain, with some commuters getting trapped on highways, flooded roads and chaotic traffic. Rainwater swamped roadways, submerging cars in many places. Several residents of the national capital used social media platforms such as X to post pictures and their stories of enduring the chaotic weather. One of them was Edelweiss Mutual Fund CEO and Shark Tank India judge Radhika Gupta, who shared her experience of travelling during a flooded metropolis. Gupta wrote, “What do you do when Delhi is flooded on the day you are supposed to have a roadshow?”

She continued by advising fellow residents of the national capital, to leave their cars in favour of the “fabulous metro, work and savour Chole Bhatura and Rajma Chawal. And as luck would have it have a record roadshow turnout! The spirit of Mumbai meets the rain of Delhi!”

The post was accompanied by pictures that showed her travelling across the flooded city.

The first image showed a car stuck in a flooded road. Radhika Gupta is next seen boarding a Delhi Metro. Next, we can see a plate of chole bhature. While the last image was from the conference room.

The post soon garnered multiple reactions from people online.

A user commented, “You set an example to enjoy the situation. You are Great.”

Another user said, “You are the super lady mam.”

Yet another user went on to suggest, “Next time you are in Delhi, have chole bhature from Nagpal’s Lajpat Nagar 4.”

Meanwhile, a user criticised the civic authorities saying, “What else we can do after paying huge tax which goes down the drain.”

The incessant rain in New Delhi led to several accidents and disruptions in regular flight and train services.
