‘It’s Always NCR Bros’: Nainital Homestay Owner Documents Damage Caused By Guests
The property owner showed the room with bottles and cans lying broken and empty.

A homestay owner in Nainital has shared a horrifying experience of guests who left his property damaged. During one of the latest stays, the owner found a broken television and bottles scattered around the property. The owner also complained that guests from the Delhi-NCR region were inconsiderate, adding they were advised by some people about problems with visitors from this area.

The video was uploaded by Nature View Villa, a vacation home in Nainital. The caption that accompanies the Instagram video read, “Fellow homestay owners, have you had similar experiences with your guests?”

The recording begins with a text message that rolls on the screen stating, “Before starting this, many fellow homestay owners warned us about people from Delhi/NCR.”

Then the property owner shows the room with bottles and cans lying broken and empty, the food on the table which seems to have grown stale, and the Television set with a cracked screen.

The individual mentioned that complaints have been filed but would like to remind the public and other Airbnb hosts of such wrongdoing. They noted that any destruction that occurs won’t go undocumented.

Fortunately, the homestay was operational under Airbnb and the company compensated the owners for all their losses.

A user commented saying, “Reveal their identities. Show their photos too. Let the world know about them.”

Another user went on to say, “Tourists from Delhi, Haryana and Punjab cause most nuisance in mountains.”

Yet another user shared the same sentiment stating, “Have travelled extensively around India. Delhites causing nuisance in homestays have been a recurring story around the country. Sorry for your loss.”

“It’s not all of the NCR bros, but it’s always the NCR bros”, read a comment.

The video has almost 3 million views on the social media platform.

Hotels.com’s Hotel Room Insights Report enumerates the number of, frequently peculiar, objects that guests have left behind. The study, released following the collection of information from more than 400 hotels from across the globe, claims that phone chargers, cosmetics, soiled clothes, bathroom amenities, and battery chargers are the most often forgotten goods.

According to the study, a chick, a pet lizard, an engagement ring, luxury car keys, and paperwork are just a few of the bizarre objects individuals have left behind.
