Internet Can’t Get Enough Of Leftover Rotis Transformed Into Maggie
A video has surfaced online where leftover rotis are given a unique transformation.

Maggi holds a special place in our hearts as this beloved comfort food has been a go-to for many. And just when you thought Maggi couldn’t get any more exciting, here comes a twist that doesn’t even include Maggi. Confused? Well, Mac Singh, better known as Dietitian Mac Singh on Instagram, has introduced a creative alternative to typical Maggi called ‘Roti Maggi.’ This unique creation has already garnered over 1.5 lakh views online.

In the viral video, Mac shows how to transform leftover chapatis into a delicious dish. “Rat ki bachi hui roti? (Leftover chapatis from last night?) Let’s create Maggie out of it in 2 minutes,” he declares, kicking off his culinary adventure. He starts by slicing the leftover rotis into noodle-like strips. Next, he heats a kadhai, sprays some oil and sautés onions, green chilies and tomato puree to create a flavourful base. For seasoning, he adds red chili powder, turmeric, masala and salt. After mixing in the roti strips with the sauce, Roti Maggi is ready to be savoured.

The accompanying caption reads, “Maggi ka maza ab aur healthy! Kal ki roti ko use karke banao yeh unique Roti Maggi, jo aapke weight loss goals ke sath bhi jaye. Kam calories, zyada maza (The joy of experiencing Maggie has become healthy. Use yesterday’s roti to prepare this unique Roti Maggi that perfectly aligns with your weight loss goals. Low in calories, High in flavour)!.”

The unexpected transformation of roti into Maggie has definitely taken the internet by storm, sparking a range of reactions from social media users.

One excited user chimed in with, “Will definitely try this,” while another noted, “Maggie without Maggie.”

Someone else shared, “Wow great I also cooked like this but somewhat different.”

An individual suggested, “Add curry leaves with little more water n get sutriya maharashtrian dish.”

This isn’t the first time roti has been given a creative makeover. Just over a month ago, another viral video showed a man turning leftover rotis into a sweet treat – a milk cake barfi.

In the clip, he starts by frying two rotis in hot oil until they become crispy. Afterwards, the fried rotis are crumbled into fine pieces using a mixer. For the next step, he heats a cup of sugar in a pan, allowing it to form a syrup, then adds a bowl of milk. As he stirs, the mixture gradually takes on a rich brown color, creating a delicious dessert.
