Imaginary Video of Doomsday Caused By Meteorite Hitting Earth Viral
In the latest trending video, we can see a large meteorite coming from space and hitting the Earth.

There were several speculations that the Earth will meet its doomsday in 2012. As time passed, scientists and other experts debated the supposed arrival of the end of Earth. One of the major reasons which made rounds on the internet is the possibility of an asteroid hitting the Earth. Now, the scientists have prepared a model which tells what would happen if the largest known meteorite in space comes flying and collides with Earth. The video has now gone viral. Netizens have called the video scary. In the latest trending video, we can see a large meteorite coming from space and hitting the Earth. It is followed by destruction, which seems equivalent to the devastation caused by a nuclear bomb. It results in a huge fire. It engulfs all the animals, plants and houses in its vicinity. In the video, it has been shown that thousands of kilometres of land have turned into dust in a short span of time. It has been shared on social media platform X.

According to scientists, if a meteorite the size of a 20-storey building hits the Earth, it will cause an explosion equal to the largest nuclear bomb ever made. Energy equivalent to 25 to 50 megatons will be released. If a mile-wide meteorite hits the Earth at 30,000 miles per hour, it will release the energy equivalent of a million-megaton bomb. If the meteorite falls on Earth, then this planet will be transformed into a huge mass of dust. The energy from the sun will also stop coming because the temperature on Earth will be higher than that. Many scientists also believe that the probability of a huge asteroid hitting the Earth is minimal. The Earth has been hit with several asteroids in the past. It didn’t cause any major destruction because they were smaller in size.
