'I Was Shocked': Madhya Pradesh Woman Claims She Found False Teeth In Chocolate
A retired school principal discovered a set of four false teeth inside a chocolate in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh.

A shocking incident has emerged from Madhya Pradesh’s Khargone, where a retired school principal discovered a set of four false teeth inside a chocolate. According to India Today, Mayadevi Gupta, a volunteer at a non-governmental organisation, received the chocolate as a treat on a child’s birthday. Days later, when she ate the chocolate, she was initially surprised by its crunchy texture. Upon closer inspection, she found that the hard object was actually a set of false teeth.

“I got a coffee-flavoured chocolate of a popular brand. After eating the chocolate, I felt something like a crunchy piece of chocolate. But, when I tried to chew it once again, I felt it to be very hard. When I took it out, I was shocked to see it was a set of four false teeth,” Mayadevi Gupta said as quoted by India Today.

The chocolate was given to Gupta by a student at a birthday party hosted by the NGO, where she regularly interacts with fellow volunteers. Following the incident, she reported the matter to the district Food and Drug Department in Khargone.

As per India Today, HL Awasiya, an official with the Food Safety and Drug Administration, stated that an investigation is underway. A team has been deployed to look into the matter and samples from the shop where the chocolates were purchased have been collected. These samples will be sent to the department’s laboratory for further analysis.

Earlier in June, a Mumbai doctor reportedly found a human finger inside an ice cream cone his sister had ordered online. The woman had used a grocery delivery app to order the ice cream along with other items. Upon finding the finger, the doctor immediately lodged a complaint with the ice cream company via its Instagram page. He had also filed a police complaint regarding the incident. The initial probe confirmed that the object was indeed a human finger. Further investigation in the matter revealed that the human finger belonged to an assistant operator manager working at the ice cream company.

In another bizarre incident, a couple travelling on the Vande Bharat train on June 18 found a cockroach in their meal. The couple’s nephew shared the photo of the meal on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) demanding action against the vendor responsible.

In response, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) stated that a suitable penalty has been applied to the concerned service provider.
