Olivia Dunne, a 21-year-old gymnast, became an internet sensation after regularly posting gymnastics and lifestyle content on social media. The gymnast recently shared creepy comments she has received on her social media accounts. When she was asked during the latest episode of her podcast Best of Both Worlds, which comment she was annoyed with – she cited people asking for her bathwater for a long time in her comments section. Dunne also added that this situation has settled down at this point, but she felt very weird with that comment. She added that “I’ll never forget, and I kind of spun it off as a joke”. Not only this, Dunne also revealed, she was tired of hearing about how gymnastics is not a real sport, and she does not deserve any of the things she has earned.
Olivia Dunne, also known by the name Livvy, has amassed over 14 million followers on Instagram. She became popular in 2020 as she committed to LSU. During the 2023-24 college gymnastics season, Dunne helped to lead LSU to a National Championship. It was the first championship that the school had ever won in the sport. She has grown to become the most-followed NGAA athlete on social media.
She started on TikTok, posting videos about gymnastics, but then moved into doing much more than that. Dunne’s social media presence and gymnastic career have been her success in the NIL market. On3 has listed Dunne as the second-most financially successful athlete in the NIL market.
Olivia Dunne also launched the Livvy Fund in the year 2023 to educate female athletes about personal branding and building partnerships. She is not only a popular gymnast, but also a great businesswoman and an inspiring role model for young female athletes.
