Cobra Slips Into Thailand Man’s Shorts While He's Asleep. Here's What Happened Next

Snakes are creatures that even the stringent of animal lovers want to stay away from. Apart from detesting them, it goes without saying that a close encounter with a snake can prove to be fatal. One can be paralysed with fear just seeing a serpent a few feet away from them. Imagine what would be someone’s reaction when they discover a snake hiding inside the boxers they are wearing, that too while sleeping. Trust us when we tell you that a Thai man experienced this firsthand. A snake entered the young man’s boxer and to save himself from it, he had to keep lying dead motionless in order to not be bitten, before help arrived.

According to an Instagram account, a startling event occurred in Rayong, Thailand. The video capturing this incident is gaining widespread attention. A young man was peacefully sleeping in his bed at night, dressed only in his undergarments. Later in the night, he sensed movement inside his boxer shorts. Initially, he assumed it was a prank by a friend, but when he discovered the reality, he was stunned. He discovered that a snake had somehow crawled its way into his boxer

He alerted his friend with subtle gestures and quiet sounds, indicating that a snake had slipped into his boxer shorts. Help was summoned to capture the snake. In the video, the snake is carefully extracted from the shorts, while the boy lies perfectly still, almost like a living statue, without moving an inch. The snake is not just any snake, but a cobra. After being captured, the cobra is placed in a bag and taken away.

This video has received 35 lakh views and many people have given their reactions by commenting, including crude jokes on the place that the cobra had selected to nest itself. Others praised the young man for diligently lying still all the while as the snake was being extracted from inside his boxer.
