British Man Orders Fish And Chips In Indian Restaurant. Here’s What Happens Next
The man said that he fancied some British food and thus ordered fish and chips in India.

A British man was left dumbfounded by what he saw on his plate after ordering fish and chips in an Indian restaurant. He decided to order this dish, hoping to get a taste of home, but he was less than enthralled with the contents of his plate. He shared it on social media and people are baffled after seeing the result. The hungry traveller, after ordering the food, was disappointed and it did not taste exactly like he expected. While many people seemed equally surprised, one Indian clarified what it actually was. Taking to Reddit, the man shared a photo of his meal which showed little similarity to anything that someone would expect back home. Posting the picture, he wrote that he is an Englishman travelling to India. He also added that he fancied some British food and ordered fish and chips, but now after receiving the order he is disappointed. He wrote, “Wow, what a sight this was” in a mocking tone. Instead of golden battered fish, the man shared a snap of half a dozen brown pieces.

The photo received a total number of 1.8 thousand likes. Many users shared their feedback by commenting on the post. About 5.4 thousand people commented. A user commented that he could have ordered a more traditional British food, like a curry, while another user shared his similar experience when he went to Cuba and ordered a hamburger. He had food poisoning during a record heat wave. He also suggested the man to not eat anything that the natives are avoiding. Eventually another user clarified his doubts adding that it looks like a fried fish Kebab instead of a piece of battered fish. He also added that, though it does not look great but it might taste good and the fries are looking a little anaemic.

A user said in the comment section that there exists some Indian spices which give it a darker colour. He mentioned that in his house, they are usually made with meat and it tastes really good.
