Bengaluru Woman Uses Viral ‘Man In Finance’ Trend For Flat Search In Hilarious Video
Neha, a Bengaluru resident, drew inspiration from the catchy tune "Man In Finance" to find herself a flat in the city.

Relocating to a new city can often feel like finding your way through a maze especially when it comes to discovering the perfect place to call home. The quest for an ideal accommodation can be a daunting task filled with endless online searches, visits to various properties and sometimes even disappointments along the way. But for one Bengaluru resident, this journey took an unexpected and delightful turn all thanks to a viral TikTok trend.

In the stroke of creative genius, Neha decided to use the power of social media to aid in her apartment hunt. She drew inspiration from a catchy viral tune Man In Finance by creator Megan Boni. She adapted the song’s lyrics with her own housing references – furnished, two rooms and a balcony. In the original lyrics of the song, Megan Boni lists what she is looking for in a partner such as a “trust fund, 6 ’5, blue eyes, Levis.”

The caption shared along with the video read, “Desperate times call for desperate measures. So here’s my take on the trend.”

Neha’s creative spin on the original lyrics of the song caused quite a stir on social media. The video has received over 1 lakh views and a plethora of reactions in the comment section.

One user playfully jabbed, “This is tougher than finding “Finance, trust fund, 6’5, blue eyes.”

Adding a touch of wit, another commenter quipped, “Bengaluru is a like a galaxy. U gotta mention which part of galaxy you looking at, prices fluctuate accordingly.”

“Let’s search together! Else I’ll also have to create one such for myself by next weekend,” someone chimed in.

Meanwhile, a clever twist on the lyrics surfaced with a comment stating, “Harder to find than a man in finance.”

A user jokingly wrote, “Ghar dhundne ka tareeka kaafi casual hai (The way to find a home is quite casual).”

And in a light-hearted enquiry, someone humorously asked, “Aisa karne se flat milta hain kya? (Will that help in finding a flat?)”

Megan Boni, also known as Girl On Couch on Tik Tok created a satirical song, I’m Looking For A Man In Finance, which unexpectedly skyrocketed to viral fame.

Originally just a TikTok video, the song quickly became a viral trend, sparking users across the globe to put their own unique spins to the catchy tune. According to BNN Bloomberg, Boni revealed that the song was intended as a parody poking fun at the notion of the perfect partner.
