81-year-old Brazilian Woman Dies After Surgery To Remove Foetus She Carried For 56 Years
Doctors said that there are certain cases where pregnancy occurs in some other part of the body instead of the womb, this is called ectopic pregnancy.

A child is born after the mother conceives it and keeps the foetus in her womb for 9 months. The foetus develops inside the woman’s body and is born after that. The human body is a structure that is yet to be explored by medical professionals. Now and then, some new developments get highlighted about the human body. But now, an incident has been in the limelight, which will stun all the readers. As per reports, a woman in Brazil was pregnant not just for a few months but continuously for 56 years. Reportedly, the woman herself never knew about it for many years until she felt an unbearable pain in her stomach.

According to reports, an 81-year-old woman named Daniela Vera suffered from an extremely strange condition. A child remained in her womb for 56 years and she did not even know about it. Daniela felt the pain in her stomach while she was crossing the Paraguayan border from Brazil, unaware of the fact that she was carrying a child.

When she went to the doctor, it was found that she had a calcified foetus in her stomach. Daniela, who is the mother of seven children, had no prior knowledge about this. On March 14, doctors were able to remove it through surgery, but after this operation, Daniela could not survive for long and died the very next day.

Doctor Patrick Dezirem, who treated Daniela, revealed that the woman died due to an infection after her surgery. He said that there are certain cases where pregnancy occurs in some other part of the body instead of the womb, this is called ectopic pregnancy. This is a type of pregnancy where the fertilised egg is conceived outside the womb, where it is not able to survive. A similar thing happened with Daniela as well.

Due to the lack of development in the child, it becomes calcified. In such a situation, there is neither severe pain nor bleeding in the body. There are no visible symptoms in the body until an X-ray is done. The woman suddenly started feeling pain in her stomach, which eventually led to her death.
