Vishal Aditya Singh and Kanika Mann Bring a Story of Love and Separation With 'Chand Jalne Laga'; Watch Teaser

Vishal Aditya Singh and Kanika Mann have come together for a new show titled ‘Chand Jalne Laga’. It traces the journey of two childhood sweethearts who once brought solace in each other’s lives but a turn of fate leads them astray. The show is for the first time that Vishal and Kanika will be sharing the screen.

Recently, Colors TV dropped the teaser of the show and revealed that while Vishal will be playing the role of Dev in Chand Jalne Laga, Kanika will be seen essaying the role of a girl named Tara. The story of Chand Jalne Laga unfolds against the backdrop of a beautiful vineyard. The very forces that once bound them, compel them to lead separate lives but coincidentally, their paths cross again. Will their shared history be enough to rekindle the ardent love they once shared? Only time will tell whether their ‘happily ever after’ is on the cards. Evoking the sentiments of love, separation, and uncertainty, the show’s first-of-its-kind musical promo is being widely loved by the audience. Watch it here:

Talking about essaying the role of Dev, Vishal Aditya Singh said, “Chand Jalne Laga – wo kahani hai jo khatam ho kar bhi kabhi khatam nahi hogi. It’s always a homecoming to work with COLORS, and I am ecstatic for this project. I’m excited to see the audience’s reaction to my character of Dev, a self-made individual driven by his determination. I’ve been fortunate to receive immense love from viewers for my previous roles, and I hope they extend the same appreciation for this one too. Kanika Mann also shared that she is excited for the audience to watch the show. “I’m eagerly looking forward to the audience witnessing my portrayal of Tara, a resilient young woman fiercely safeguarding her father’s honor. However, even the strongest souls are vulnerable when it comes to love. The highlight for me is that I am returning to my favorite channel COLORS and playing a protagonist for such a passionate love story. I wish the viewers relate to this story and embrace my character in it,” she added.
