With Bigg Boss OTT 3 in process, the buzz around Bigg Boss 18 has begun. Speculations about the contestants for the upcoming season are at an all-time high. One celebrity rumoured to join the show is Shoaib Ibrahim. Several reports have suggested that the actor may participate in the next season of the controversial reality show. However, Dipika Kakar, Shoaib’s wife, has shared a vlog on YouTube in which the actor dismisses the rumours.
In the vlog, Dipika Kakar was seen asking Shoaib Ibrahim whether he is participating in Bigg Boss 18. In response, Shoaib said, “There is nothing like that, this happens every season that my name comes in the list. But all of these are just rumours and I am not going to participate this season.”
Further calling off the speculations about his participation, Shoaib Ibrahim added, “I have mentioned this before as well, never say never but there are no plans of mine to participate in this season of Bigg Boss. I would love to participate but in 3-4 years, not right now. I just wanted to clear it out as I have received so many messages since morning. I don’t know who started this news but it isn’t happening.”
Speaking on how the rumours would have cost him a project, the former Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa contestant remarked, “I even received a message from a production house asking whether I was actually going as they were planning to cast me for a show. Then I told them that I wasn’t participating and we could talk about the show.”
Shoaib Ibrahim, the popular television star, is known for his performance in television shows like Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein, Sasural Simar Ka, Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai, Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey, Ishq Mein Marjawan and Ajooni. Besides, he also participated in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 wherein he emerged as one of the finalists. The winner of the season was Manisha Rani, who gained fame through her appearance in Bigg Boss OTT 2.
As for his personal life, Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar have been married for a few years now. The couple embraced parenthood last year after they welcomed a baby boy. They named their son Ruhaan.
