She gives a flying kiss to the drone which is shooting from in front. “Aaj ka BTS Guess the song I m actually singing Thank u @sanyukta1294 for shooting this,” reads the caption. Rupali Ganguly has recently joined politics. The actress joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The news has taken everyone by surprise, including her Anupamaa co-star Nidhi Shah. The actress, who plays the role of her daughter-in-law Kinjal on the show, spoke exclusively with News18 Showsha and said that she is surprised by the turn of events but is happy for Rupali.
Political leaders Vinod Tawde and Anil Baluni announced her addition to the party. At the press conference, Rupali said, “I am so honoured to be here. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has influenced me a lot. I am a big fan of PM Modi. BJP has been doing great work and therefore i wanted to join the BJP. I am very thankf ul to the party.”
She added, “When I see this ‘Mahayagya’ of development, I feel that I should also take part in this. I need your blessings and support so that whatever I do, I do it right and good.”
Rupali spoke to the news agency ANI when she shared that it is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s working style and personality which made her join the “Modi sena”. “The one personality that attracts everyone towards BJP is PM Modi. His working style, personality and the way he has taken our country towards development, every Indian wants to join ‘Modi Sena’ and contribute to the country and I also felt the same and hence I joined BJP,” she said.
Rupali Ganguly is known for playing the role of Anupamaa in Rajan Shahi’s popular show of the same name. The show has been ruling TRP charts for years now and is widely loved by the audience. Besides Rupali, Anupamaa also stars Gaurav Khanna, Sudhanshu Pandey, Nidhi Shah, Sagar Parekh, Ashish Mehrotra and Alpana Buch among others.
