The popular TV show Anupamaa, featuring Rupali Ganguly, has captured the hearts of fans with its gripping storyline. The current narrative revolves around Anu’s challenges as she navigates her new life in the USA, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats. In a recent Instagram live session, Rupali, who keeps her fans engaged, provided insights into the show’s production. During the interactive session, she addressed fan comments and shared that the initial plan was to shoot in the USA. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the production team, led by producer Rajan Shahi, swiftly devised a new plan. Remarkably, within just seven days, they managed to recreate a US-like set in Mumbai, ensuring the seamless continuation of the show and surprising fans with the dedication of the production team.
Revealing why the team didn’t travel to the USA, the Sarabhai vs Sarabhai actress said, “I was really scared that I would have to go to the US for the track and for how long I would have to stay there. How will I stay there leaving my son? Rajan ji is the sweetest. He brought the US for us here. Initially, everything was planned and we were going for the outdoor shoot. Our visas, passports, everything was ready and he suddenly decided that we would bring the US here. He built this set in just 7 days. I am really happy that you guys are liking it. For TV, this is a completely new thing.”
After Anupama’s relocation to the USA, fans anxiously anticipated the reunion of their beloved MaAn. The recent episode finally fulfilled this expectation with an unexpected twist. Choti Anu, also known as Aadhya, expressed intense hatred towards Anupama in a surprising turn of events. When Gaurav Khanna’s character Anuj took Anu home to meet Choti, she unexpectedly showed anger and was seen pushing them away. This reaction left the audience upset, leading to fans targeting Aura Bhatnagar, the actress who portrays Aadhya in the show.
Reacting to the same, Rupali Ganguly shared, “Now, you all would be angry with Aadhya aka Choti Anu. But the kids are like that, especially in the preteen phase. They get a little adamant about things at the moment you say anything to them they take it very emotionally and at that age they react in a certain way and have that emotional outburst. So I would like to request you all to not judge her like this.”
Apart from Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna and Aura Bhatnagar, Anupamaa also features Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, Aashish Mehrotra, Alpana Buch and Nidhi Shah, among others.
